We thank all who supported PO Glen Ciano and his family in this difficult time. The outpouring of support from so many was a fitting tribute to him and a demonstration of the strong bond between Police Officers and first responders nationwide.

Is it with the deepest of regret that we announce the death of our Police Officer Glen L. Ciano, Shield #3719, Second Precinct Patrol Section. Police Officer Glen Ciano expired on Sunday, February 22, 2009, from line of duty injuries sustained in a police motor vehicle crash.

Officer Ciano is survived by his wife and two children. He was 45 years of age at the time of his passing and a 22 year veteran of this department. He served the majority of his career in the Second Precinct. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
